Trivia Elle Muhoza Takes the Crown as Miss Uganda 2025/26

Kampala – Uganda has a new beauty queen. Trivia Elle Muhoza was on Saturday night crowned Miss Uganda 2025/26 in a glittering ceremony held at the Kampala Serena Hotel. The event, attended by government officials, celebrities, and past beauty queens, marked one of the biggest nights in Uganda’s pageant calendar.

Muhoza, 23, stood out among 20 finalists with her eloquence, charm, and passion for community development. Her winning project focused on empowering young girls in rural areas with education and mentorship programs — a cause she vowed to advance during her reign.

“I am deeply honored to represent Uganda on such a prestigious platform,” Muhoza said moments after receiving the crown. “This is not just about beauty but about using our voices and influence to make a real difference in our communities.”

The grand finale featured performances from some of Uganda’s top artists, including Ykee Benda and Sheebah Karungi, as well as dazzling runway segments showcasing Ugandan designers. Judges praised Muhoza for her confidence and authenticity during the question-and-answer segment, where she impressed with her articulate responses about youth empowerment and sustainable development.

As Miss Uganda 2025/26, Muhoza will go on to represent the country at international pageants and serve as an ambassador for various charitable initiatives. Pageant organizers also announced that she will spearhead campaigns around education, health, and climate awareness throughout her reign.

Outgoing Miss Uganda 2024/25 handed over the crown with heartfelt words: “I know Trivia will do Uganda proud. She embodies the spirit of the modern Ugandan woman—intelligent, compassionate, and driven.”

The night ended with a standing ovation as Muhoza waved to an ecstatic crowd, signaling the beginning of her journey as the face of Uganda’s beauty and cultural pride.
