Let’s be honest for just one minute.
We’re all walking around acting mature, healed, and emotionally intelligent…
but the thoughts?
The thoughts are unhinged.
Here are 7 thoughts we ALL have, even if we’ll never say them out loud.
1. “I hope they regret how they treated me.”
You don’t want revenge.
You don’t want drama.
You just want them to randomly remember you at 2AM and feel bad.
Is that so wrong?
Exactly.
2. “I’m not jealous… but I’m watching.”
You’re happy for them. Truly.
But you also noticed the caption.
The outfit.
The location.
The likes.
You’re not competing — you’re just aware.
3. “I want to succeed just to prove a point.”
Yes, growth is personal.
Yes, success is for you.
But if it also:
- Shocks doubters
- Confuses haters
- Silences disrespect
That’s just a bonus feature.
4. “I miss them… but I miss my peace more.”
Some people were never bad.
They were just bad for your nervous system.
You miss the version of them that existed on good days —
but not enough to invite chaos back.
5. “I’m acting unbothered, but I care a little.”
You’re calm.
You’re silent.
You’ve moved on.
But if someone says their name unexpectedly?
Your spirit does a small backflip.
Healing is real — it’s just not always dramatic.
6. “I wonder if they notice my glow-up.”
You didn’t post it for them.
You didn’t dress up for them.
You didn’t upgrade your life for them.
But if they happen to see it?
That’s none of your business. 😌
7. “I’d forgive them… but I won’t forget.”
Forgiveness doesn’t come with amnesia.
You can release anger and keep boundaries.
You’re not bitter —
you’re just educated now.
Final Thought
Having these thoughts doesn’t make you toxic.
It makes you human.
The real growth is:
- Not acting on every thought
- Choosing peace
- And still laughing at how relatable this is
Be honest which one hit you the hardest? 😭
(Number 3 was personal.)
